Jane Greenough
Hello! My name is Jane Greenough and I am the part-time guidance counselor here at FBE. I always knew that I wanted to be a guidance counselor, so I committed to graduate from Abingdon High School in 1989. After that, I committed to graduate with a Bachelors degree in psychology from Radford University in 1992, followed by a Masters degree in counselor education at Virginia Tech in 1994.

I have enjoyed working with all age groups over the years at Floyd County High School, Blacksburg High School, Blacksburg Middle School, and now Falling Branch. I work with kindergarten and 1st graders here at FBE, and I truly enjoy being able to spend time interacting with them each day in their classrooms, in the cafeteria, and in the hallway. This has to be my favorite age student and I love to see how they respond so well to love and encouragement! It is a very rewarding career!

I live in Christiansburg with my four children and husband. We have three friendly and fun cats. We love to be outside and spend our free time hiking, biking, swimming, and going on lots of adventures. We try to embrace every season with new activities!
