Mrs. Laura Hubble
My name is Laura Hubble and I am a School-Based Clinician from New River Valley Community Services. I committed to graduate from Graham High School in Bluefield, VA in 2000. During high school I was involved in many activities including volleyball, choir, and drama. I had a lot of fun but also took time to study so I could make good grades and get into the college I wanted to attend and I did!

I then committed to graduate from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Go Vols! I had to study hard but enjoyed all the different classes I could take and being away from my parents and having a little independence was nice. I received my undergraduate degree in Human Services from UT in 2004.

I then began working for a private agency that I did an internship for during college. I did in-home counseling for a year for this agency and decided I missed my family and wanted to move back closer to home. I ended up in Blacksburg where I worked for almost 5 years doing Therapeutic Day Treatment Counseling at Dublin Middle School. During this time I decided to get my Master’s Degree and so I committed to graduate from Liberty University. Working and going back to school was challenging but with well-organized time and dedication I graduated in 2010 with my masters in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling.

While finishing my degree I moved to my current job with NRVCS where I am now committed to FBE and the work I do here and with my clients! I now live in Christiansburg with my husband and our new son. In my free time I love to relax with family and friends, play board games or sing karaoke. I also love to get lost in a good book! I love being a part of the Falling Branch family and look forward to a great year!!
