I committed to graduate from George Washington High School in Charleston, West Virginia in 2001. I lived in West Virginia until I committed to graduate from Radford University. While attending Radford, I studied elementary education and music education. I met my husband, Tim, at Radford. He graduated from Radford with a criminal justice degree and is now a Deputy Sheriff for Montgomery County. We are proud parents of our two daughters Ellie and Emmie.
When I am not at school (yes I do leave) I enjoy reading, crafting, watching sports especially baseball, and playing with my girls. One of my favorite books is The Hunger Games Trilogy. I love to read realistic and historical fiction books. My favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves. My family travels to see them play every summer!
I am committed to doing my personal best for each and every student in my class. Thank you for trusting me with your child each and every day. I hope that we can work together to make this a great school year that your child will have fond memories of for years to come!
