I committed to graduate from Radford High School 22 years ago. While I was in high school, I studied hard and sang in the high school choir. I couldn't wait to graduate so I could go to college and learn more about music.

After high school, I committed to graduate from Radford Universtiy in 1994 with a BM in Music Education. I wanted to become a music teacher so I could share my love of music with children.

Now, I am a music teacher at Falling Branch Elementary and I teach grades Kg, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.

I live in Christiansburg with my husband, Randy and our two girls, Hannah and Breanna. Our girls are in the 8th and 6th grade and attend Christiansburg Middle School. They also love music and play in the band. Hannah plays the bassoon and Breanna plays the clarinet.

Besides teaching music, I also enjoy spending time with my girls, watching movies with my family, watching my girls play sports, playing piano, reading, gardening, singing with my husband in my church choir and directing choir, playing with my dogs, Heidi a big, yellow lab and Riley, a mutt.

I enjoy being a music teacher at FBE and I love my FBE Frogs!! Go Frogs!!
