My name is Tina Stuart and I committed to graduate from Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I loved school and was involved in many activities. I was a cheerleader, participated in French Club, National Honor Society, and many other scholastic clubs. I knew I wanted to be a teacher so in high school I taught French to elementary students. I also coached youth cheerleading squads. I couldn’t wait to go to college to further my education.
I committed to graduate from Methodist University. I studied Elementary and Middle School Education. I was an ambassador to the school and loved being a part of all the activities and clubs it offered. I was a cheerleader and on the dance team while I attended college. After I graduated, I began teaching second grade in North Carolina. I moved to Virginia and began teaching at Falling Branch five years later. I’ve been a teacher for over 15 years. I’ve taught second, fourth, and first grades. I live in Christiansburg with three children, and our two dogs. We love spending time together and one of our favorite things to do is READ! That is why I love teaching second grade. We read all day long! Being a teacher brings me great joy and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
